If you indicate on interest in engineering on your UW application,you are automatically assigned pre-engineering status.If you do not have pre-engineering status,you can have your status change to pre-engineering at student academic services in 301 Loew Hall. As a pre-engineering major,you spend your first one to three years taking required courses in math,chemistry,physics,english,composition and engineering foundamentals,along with some general education courses in the visual, Literary&Performing Arts(VLPA) and individuals & Socities(I & S) Once you have completed all prequisite courses,you can apply for admission to one or more engineering programs.If you plan to apply to more than one department,be sure to meet with an adviser to creat a course plan that will meet the prerequisites for all your chosen. |

An aeronautical designer usually involved in providing design and detailling expertise for companies who develop aeronautical components; products and systems.You'll need to ensure technical excellence while maintaining fidelity to any specifications and design requirements put forth by your client from design,build,experimentation installation to testing ,validation and analysis of the new product.You'll need to make sure the products complies with the requirements set out by regulatory authorizes on the national and international level.
